What a Busy Day now Classes have Restarted.

Happy 2015, if a bit belated.  We are back in the shop and raring to go.  Three new workshops started yesterday, so we were all just a little bit tired by the end of the day.

Sandra has a workshop for the beautiful embroidered books she makes, where you could choose to do either the Apple or the Oak book, originally there was only a class in the morning, but as it was so over subscribed that we had to add an afternoon class as well. These books are works of art in their own right, each one so beautiful you'll want to make everyone in the series.

Over in the Community Centre in the morning, was the Beginners Machine patchwork class with Ann where some very keen ladies where all raring to go, rotary cutters and rulers in hand. This class is ideal if you have no or very little knowledge of patchwork, as you will be taken through the process of quilt making and learn lots of different techniques and we do like the odd biscuit or three along the way, so if you really would like to do this class we can easily catch you up as its only just begun.

Then in the afternoon, Beccy had her mixed media class with her Thread Storage File, where you paint and sew on fabrics too great effect. When unzipped, it contains fabric pages with all your threads neatly stored onto them. This is a superb project and such fun to be playing with paint and fabric. Do you wish you'd signed up? Again as the class has just started we can catch you up quite quickly, just pick up the phone and call us

We do enjoy ourselves so much, even if we do get very tired by the end of the day, its so rewarding being able to share our knowledge and have so much fun doing it. What lucky ladies we are xx
