Launch of the new Workshop Programme for September 2016 - June 2017

Well I will start with an apology, as we have not blogged for sometime. It has been a very busy year for the shop and home life too. Our move back to the old premises at Tredegar House was less traumatic than we thought and we managed with a great deal of help from family and friends to move the whole kit and caboodle in just one weekend. Now we have been here for 3 months, would you believe? the new building feels very much like home.
I myself have just completed my forth year of City and Guilds Creative Textiles, and oh! am I glad it is all over! It has been a roller coaster 4 years for many reasons, but over the good times and the bad times the friends I have made and the sewing has kept me sane. I am firm believer that sewing and craft have beneficial and therapeutic benefits, sailing you away into a world where only the needle and thread passing through the fabric matters.
What ever your reason for wanting to take part in a workshop whether to learn a new skill, make new friends, chat to others who are possibly just as crazy as you about fabric and thread or just for the sheer love of it we hope we have a workshop to inspire you.

We have been very fortunate to book Jenny Rayment of Create and Craft fame for a whole weekend and an evening talk. Jenny has written many books on fabric manipulation and sewing, she is, let's say a character and really not to be missed if you are looking for an informative and eventful day.

  1. Thanks for taking the time to discuss that, I feel strongly about this and so really like getting to know more on this kind of field. Do you mind updating your blog post with additional insight? It should be really useful for all of us.
