Busy Bees programme is being launch on Saturday 23rd July

Sue and I enjoy this time of year, as now is the time when we see lots of finished quilts and other items, that were made in the workshops and courses that we have been running through out the year.

If you have any work that you made at a Busy Bees class, do bring it into the shop, so that we can take a photo or email in a picture and I will put it on the blog. It's lovely to share your work and see what other have made. At classes we see the fabrics other students bring to the class, but not the finished item. By putting your finished work on Busy Bees blog you can share with everyone the lovely things you have made.

This delightful line of quilts were made at Sue's' Machine Patchwork Course', that started on January 6th this year. Everyone was really pleased with their quilts and you can see why, they are really lovely.

Sue will be running this course again next January. If you would like to learn how to make your own quilts, Sue has a beginners hand patchwork class starting on September 15th.

The new Workshop Programme is being launch on Saturday 23rd July and you will be able to book onto a course or class then. This year there are 62 different classes and courses for you to chose from. The shop is open from 10am, then you can pick up a programme and be one of the first to book onto the courses and one day classes.

There is always a lot of people at the launch. This year we have booked Duffryn Community Centre and will have a display of some of the items you can make, that are in the programme. We also have invited the tutors along, to have a chat with you about the classes they will be running.

The members of the 'Tuesday Girls' group will be making tea, coffee and lovely cakes to sell. All the money raised will be going to Ty Hafan. Ty Hafan offers comfort, care and support for life limited children and young people and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of their whole family. An organisation well worth supporting.

Try to come along for your programme on 23rd July and start the wheels rolling for you to begin making something special.
