Fantastic reactions to the exhibition

Another fantastic day of reactions from visitors to the exhibition. With enthusiastic quilters from across the locality rubbing shoulders with the international crowd who had come to see the wonderful Tredegar House.

The show has over eighty different pieces of patchwork and embroidery including nearly thirty quilts. All by dozens of local craftswomen who attend workshops and clubs at Busy Bees.

Everyone we have spoken to has been really impressed by what they have seen. It has been great to see the warmth towards the amazing work of our super talented regulars.

We started holding bi-annual exhibitions of customers work around 10 years ago, and they have just got better and better. The wonderful backdrop of the Tredegar House stables adding a deserving drop of grandure to proceedings. The stables have had many uses over the years from a boarding school to a Doctor Who set, so our textile exhibition is a modest use of it's rooms.

Photographs of all the quilts and other textiles with appear on the blog in due course, but if you can,  come and see this fantastic work in all it's glory.
